Underwater Camera Housing
The Nexus 5d underwater camera housing is a professional housing, full of functions and features that will meet even the most demading underwater photographers needs.
The Nexus 5D is constructed of corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy and the grips are corrosion-resistant die-cast aluminum with multiple screw holes for strobe placement. This housing is depth rated to 200' and is very close to be neutrally bouyant, depending on the port. External strobes can be connected via a dual 5 pin Nikonos type connector.
The 5D housing features a special dial tension control, which can be adjusted underwater and has a solid hot shoe mount with external port for remote control of your focusing light. All controls are made of stainless steel and the housing features both dial and push controls.
The handles are positioned and contoured so that your hand placement allows easy access to the cameras most used functions. These handles are also adjustable to allow for perfect customization to fit your personal fit and comfort.
Optical viewer has several lens combinations that you can use to meet different needs for a wide range of camera lenses. Increase the magnification for either ultra wide lenses or super macro set up. As with all Nexus housings, the 5D has a positive threaded port housing closure. This ensures the most secure and ridged mounting for your lens ports.
Nexus also supplies all housings with two extra portal pass through to install external video out and remote shutter release for enhanced operations.
