Custom made for Gates, these drying towels are just like a chamois cloth ? absorbent and soft. They are perfect for drying your Gates housing after a dive. Will not scratch or harm finishes.

This port contains a single, flat, uncorrected element. The field of view becomes narrowed underwater, subject to the same refraction as a diver looking through a facemask. This Port allows full camera zoom capability, and diopters may be used to increase the magnification of a macro subject. +1, +2 and +4 are commonly used, and available from Gates as an accessory kit. This Port contains a single optical acrylic element that is forgiving to minor bumps and handling, and it is field replaceable.

The Gates FX7/V1 Underwater Video Housing is compatible with the Sony HDR-FX7 and HVR-V1U and features controls for Power On/Off, Record/Standby, Zoom, Manual Focus Auto / Manual Focus, Iris, Internal "Flip" Color Correction Filter, Neutral Density Filter, Expanded Focus, Gain, Shutter Speed and White Balance.

The GM26 is a recent addition to the Gates Precision line of optics for underwater imaging. It is a +2.6 achromat diopter specifically for macro imaging.
This diopter is composed of two fused optical elements instead of the more common single element designs. This feature brings edge to edge sharpness to your macro images -- no 'keyhole' effect that has center sharpness but very fuzzy edges. Your macro images are clear and precise.
Focusable range (underwater): 12-15 inches from port vertex
Minimum image size @ full zoom and close focus: 1.05" x 0.75"

The Gates GP25A has a tough aluminum shell and a field replaceable optical polycarbonate dome. The field of view is approximately 70 degrees depending on the camera/port combination. This port is an ideal choice for extreme use conditions or when field replacement of a damaged dome is necessary.

Vignette-free means no cutoff dark corners to ruin an image.

The Gates HC3 Underwater Video Housing features controls for On/OFF, Record, Standby, Zoom, Photo, an internal flip filter, and access to the "assign" button. The assign button can be set to control focus, exposure, or white balance shift.
The LCD screen is open and viewable from the back of the housing. This will eliminate the need for an external monitor. Zoom control is accessed via the side of the LCD screen.

The Gates HC7-HC9 Underwater Video Housing is compatible with the Sony HDR-HC5, HDR-HC7 and HDR-HC9.
This housing has controls for On/Off, Record, Standby, Zoom, photo and assign. An optional control for white balance and Tele Macro is also available.
The LCD screen is open and viewable on this housing. This will eliminate the need for an external monitor.
