The Nexus D2X is available with a wide range of ports, which are compatible with most lenses. It is very important to match your lens with the correct port, it is also very important to realize that not all lenses are suitable for underwater use. Click here to see compatible ports and lenses. To prevent leakage and to ensure secure port mounting, the Nexus D2X is outfitted with a screw-in port mount. |
| The handles have a multi-screw thread pattern for strobe attachment and the housing has 2 Nikonos sync sockets. There are also (3) 1/4 20 screw holes in the bottom of the handles for extra accessory mounts or for use with a tripod. Optional handle extensions are also available for the perfectly customized fit to your hands. |  |
The D2X is constructed of a specially formulated aluminum casting, which allows for no corrosion in salt water. To ensure a secure, watertight seal, this housing is outfitted with 5 stainless steel latches. 2 spare ports are also available for remote controls or video out and one spare gland port for optional zoom or focus controls
