High Definition Underwater Imaging
A new revolution in underwater imaging is here: the new Gates FX1/Z1 Underwater Housing! This housing has set a new standard in resolution and clarity. This housing is compatible with the Sony HDR-FX1 and Sony HVR-Z1U.
The images above show the FX1/Z1 housing with optional adjustable handles.
As with all Gates underwater housings, the FX1/Z1 features all mechanical, fingertip controls, which are easily accessible and control important functions like iris, white balance and manual focus. No worrying about faulty electronics or dead batteries. Optional controls are available, which allow control of gain/wb presets, shutter speed and expanded focus. An optional moisture alarm is also available for that extra piece of mind.
The FX1/Z1 underwater housing, coupled with an entire array of optional features, (see below) is sure to please even the most demanding underwater videographer.
