Professional High Definition Underwater Imaging
Engineered for the working professional, the Gates HVX200 housing is a comprehensive inventory of features for serious underwater imaging. Adjustable handles, standard equipment on the HVX200, allow the user to adjust the handling of the housing to fit their personal preference and comfort. These handles provide perfect grip and easy access to critical functions like white balance, iris, manual focus and user presets. Optional controls for the HVX200 include: user1 and user 2 presets, scene file and P2/Tape (allows user to switch between P2 card and tape). External monitors are also available as an optional accessory.
The Gates HVX200 now has the capabitlity to record to a citidisk hard drive. This is an optional configuration which is a perfect solution to the short record times of the current P2 cards. This option may delay shipment of your housing by up to one week. For those of you that already own the Gates HVX200, your housing will need to be shipped to Gates Underwater Products for the modifications to be made.
Bayonet mounted ports allow quick changes between Flat, Dome and Super Wide Angle ports enabling the clearest, sharpest images, a necessary requisite for HD endeavors.
