| KELDAN, was established in 1994 by Daniel Keller, an electrical engineer and experienced diver from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. All KELDAN lights are designed with the diver in mind. All KELDAN lights are designed as HID Gas Discharge Lamps, which are compact and extremely powerful. HID Bulb with variable power
The HID bulb provides a very natural white light in daylight quality with a color temperature of 5200 Kelvin. Two power settings LOW (19Watt) / HIGH (24Watt) allow to choose between a power saving mode and full power for best image quality.
Professional modular system
 The canister/umbilical design makes this light very flexible. The battery canister is compatible with the battery canisters used for the technical lights. If you need longer burntime or smaller dimensions you can switch to a different size canister. The light heads are exchangeable among other KELDAN lights. Future upgrades will be possible as this feature of the design will remain the same. Iit is also possible to supply the heads from the surface using a 15V DC supply.
The included bracket allows easy mounting of the light heads on standard arm systems like the UltraLight arms.
Tough Design
 The HID bulb is double shock protected with a soft silicon foam inside, and a thick rubber ring outside the housing.
Thanks to its overtemperature protection, the light can also be used outside the water.
NiMH Battery
 The Solaris Movie 24 uses a high quality rechargeable NiMH (nickel metal hydride) batterypack The batterypack can be easily exchanged within a few seconds. A charge regulator with integrated charge display (8-LED bar display) is integrated in the batterypack.
The wall adapter accepts 110V to 240V AC. Exchangeable adapter plugs allow worldwide use.

Self-contained

 The LUNA 8 uses a rechargeable Li-Ion batterypack which offers much higher power density and less weight compared to NiMH batteries.
